The Mission of the Grow NWI is to build community by increasing and enhancing
community gardening and greening across Northwest Indiana.
Grow NWI is a nonprofit membership organization of professionals, volunteers and supporters of community greening in urban and rural communities. Grow NWI recognizes that community gardening improves people’s quality of life by providing a catalyst for neighborhood and community development, stimulating social interaction, encouraging self-reliance, beautifying neighborhoods, producing nutritious food, reducing family food budgets, conserving resources and creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, therapy and education.

Grow NWI is funded entirely through memberships, donations, and grants. Your continued support is necessary to meet our goals of ensuring food security throughout the Northwest Indiana We link resources, information, and people for the advancement of community gardening and greening, and advocate on your behalf for a secure future, lush by your own hands.
